Retention Support for at Risk Children Enrolled in Lebanese Public Schools

In January 2016, we implemented a project in partnership with UNICEF titled “Retention Support for at Risk Children Enrolled in Lebanese Public Schools”. The project started in January 2016 and ended in December 2016, and was conducted in North Lebanon, specifically in Tripoli. The focus of the project was to provide support to children aged between 7 and 14 years old, regardless of their nationality (Lebanese or Syrian or Palestinian refugees), who were at risk of dropping out of public schools. The project aimed to promote retention and success in education by providing academic and psycho-social support to these vulnerable children.
