Advanced Basic Literacy & Numeracy Program
In January 2018, the Al Fayhaa Association launched the Advanced Basic Literacy & Numeracy Program in partnership with Heartland Alliance International, targeting refugees of Syrian background in the Akkar governorate of North Lebanon. The project ran until May 2018 and focused on capacity building in the education sector. The project aimed to improve the basic literacy and numeracy skills of children aged between 7 and 14 years old and young adults aged between 18 and 28 years old, particularly women and men. Through various activities and interventions, the project aimed to enhance the participants’ education and future opportunities.
